ChinaStrategist Consulting Group Limited is a
leading Chinese business consultancy established in 1990, by Tony Zhao,
in Guangzhou (formerly Canton), China.
The company was established to provide a wide range of commercial
business services to, primarily, international companies considering
entering the dynamic Chinese market.
The company’s creation was a direct response to the poor quality
of research information and level of service Tony Zhao felt overseas organisations were experiencing in the market at that
time.
ChinaStrategist’s Managing Director is Chinese
national Tony Zhao, with twenty-three-years management experience of
Chinese business in research, manufacturing, import and export, and
joint-venture partnerships gained in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and
Macao. Tony Zhao was educated in
the United Kingdom at Staffordshire University Business School and Aston
University Business School, where, he was awarded a MSc.
in Global Marketing, and a MBA, respectively; his first qualification,
International Business, was awarded from Zhongshan
University, Guangzhou’s premier university.
The company
originally commenced trading as a sole trader in 1990, with encouragement
and active support from a number of Chinese state-owned import and export
organisations. Since 1996, ChinaStrategist Consulting Group
trades as a limited company from its registered office in Guangzhou.
ChinaStrategist Consulting Group is recognised as one of an elite group of China’s
leading providers of market intelligence and business-to-business
services. During sixteen-years of
